I have been passionate about carpentry and woodwork since the year 2006. I love all the different kinds of hard wood that is available and appreciate good woodwork craftmanship on other people\'s social media around the world. All woodwork is different and a lot can be learned from each and every person with their process of making their woodwork projects. I love the process of thinking out how a table or dressing table will look once the project is finished. It excites me to put my hands to work and see what the outcome or final project looks like. I take pride in all my work done, so I make sure that my projects are as flawless and durable for years to come. I love the fact that I can make my hobby, which is building things out of wood, and turn it into something I do for a living. That is the way to live in my opinion.

Doing carpentry projects for clients and creating all my furniture for my family home has been the best highlights of my career. I have made all sorts of items such as: Beds, Office Desks, Coffee Furniture, Couches, TV cabinets, Cupboards, Wall Units, Laptop Stands, Cell Phone Stands, Wine Glass Holders, Refurbishing and Renovating furniture items. Under my fathers woodwork business I have accomplished the following projects with a team: Wooden Houses, Log Houses, Wooden Decks, Kitchen Cabinets installation, Jungle Gyms, Outdoor Furniture, Laminate flooring installation, installing ceilings and maintenance.
I have worked for multiple companies in South Africa and I am at a point in my life now to expand and broaden my experience to working overseas. Here in South Africa, the monthly/annual salary for a Carpenter is not worth much, unless you start your own company and make your own profit on each project, hence I started my own business, however the competition in my home town is very tough and I cannot bring in an acceptable amount of income to take care of my wife and 2 daughters. A basic salary in the UK or Canada will provide well for my family and hopefully allow us to move to a new country where we can lay down roots for our 2 small children.
