I am a very grounded and focused head of the kitchen. I am very much strong in controlling stock, costing, balancing sales and stock issued for the day to make sure we reach our budget and minimize loses and theft. My style of cooking is gourmet, promoting mostly healthy eating. I am an easy to work with kind of person, I love getting involved with other departments to build a peaceful working environment and also to get more feedback about our meals. My cooking foundation is from 5-star boutique hotels. I am very much passionate about events catering, from high teas, outdoor grab and go lunches, cocktail menus, canapes platter, burger day menus and a whole lot of other event catering.
I have managed a number of up to 40 staff members serving about 750 meals a day, so I do not have any issues with getting employment in an establishment with high volumes. I have been a kitchen manager for a private hospital, so I am familiar with special dietary requests. I would like to be given an opportunity to showcase my cooking and management skills. I do know that with my strong financial I can take the company to the right direction.
