Establishing formal controls and best-practice standards that mitigate risk and strengthen business operations, have characterised each off my roles in the healthcare - from Board member to Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Prime Minister Advisor/Right-hand, policy maker and more.
The bottom-line is that I improve service and quality by strategically, analytically and commercially ensuring that protection from risk is contained within formal controls and governance that shields boards from potential contingencies.
Through this approach, I've steered accountability and transparency, transformed operations into centres of healthcare excellence, and created financial inroads that are robust and prosperous.
My strengths in strategy, planning, growth, risk and financial management, touches on all aspects of my career where I have ensured that services have been closely aligned with business goals, compliance and strategy frameworks.
There are many components of my career of which I am proud. An example was the transformation of the Port Moresby General Hospital that had suffered decades of neglect, into a shining beacon of healthcare excellence in Papua New Guinea.
I was made a member of the Order of Loguhu - Papua New Guinea's Principal Order of merit - for my contributions to Healthcare, Port Moresby General Hospital and the Community.
