Currently I am residing in Pakistan and am looking to broaden my horizons and progress as a care assistant. I have experience of working with patients with dementia patients not only professionally but also personally as my grandmother had suffered with dementia. I feel my personal experiences enable me to empathise with the patient and their families. This has developed my interests in further specialising in this field. Whilst looking after patients, I have learnt to adapt daily tasks to suit the patients needs allowing them to feel independent and self confidence in themselves. As a care assistant, I liaised with patients, their families and medical professionals to ensure the best care is provided for the patient.
