As a passionate culinary chef with over 5 years experience as a cook and commis chef,i have always had a passion for food and since an early age have been experimenting with recipes and different foods and I like to spend time doing this. I am a perfectionist and like to work in a clean and tidy kitchen and I always clean as I go along not leaving a huge pile of washing up till the end.
Am a hard worker, very organised and a stickler for attention to detail and I feel that these skills are good in a kitchen setting. I enjoy working as part of a wider team but I am also very capable of working on my own initiative.There is a lot more that I have to offer in a commis chef role, including the ability to expedite orders, and perform portioning tasks. Also, I possess expertise in handling food rotating activities and overseeing food supplies inventory
Over the time that I have worked as a commis chef at Radisson Blu Hotel,Nairobi UpperHill, Tamarind Tree Hotel and Sankara Nairobi, Autograph Collection Hotel i have polished my skills in many areas and i still continue to grow and some skills that I offer include:
• Determining the right ingredients for different dishes
• Preparing food items such as meats, cheeses, fruits, and vegetables

• Operating kitchen appliances and equipment such as grills, ovens, and fryers

• Handling waste management tasks, aiming at eradicating contamination
