I believe I qualify for the job I am applying for as I have been working in the same field and other related areas as part of community projects and would like to explore this area abroad.
I visited my parents in the UK a few years ago and observed health care in the Nursing homes and Hospital and felt really enthusiastic for the work and look forward to the opportunity to work there.

1. Health Assistant- Current.
My current work involves based care which involve caring for the terminally ill and those with long-term chronic illnesses. It involves supervision of the community health volunteers as well as referrals to appropriate health services. I also care for mothers in the perinatal period until the child is five years. I supervise hygiene including water and sanitation giving advice on water safety and safe waste disposal. This is ongoing.
2. Social work for Justice and Mercy.
This role involved looking after the orphaned and vulnerable to ensure their basic needs were met.
3. Kokech Jamii - Community Project.
As a social worker, upholding community basic needs and Victims of HIV AIDs
4. Nagasaki University of Tropical medicine Research Assistant.
This was a Japanese project in Kenya researching on tropical medication for malaria, verbal autopsy and treating mosquito breeding sites.
5. Assistant Pharmacist.
Worked at St Jude's Hospital pharmacy based at the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology- Mbita.
