I am a conscientious and hard-working individual, capable of working independently with minimum supervision. Moreover, I am a proactive worker with abilities such as compassion, cleanliness, organised, physical strength and stamina. I am a time manager and possess innovative cooking skills.
I have experience working in the social care settings for over 5 years with both children and adults who have learning disabilities, physical and mental health needs as well. Moreover, I have worked as a personal carer to an elderly lady with dementia, who needed support with daily activities of living. I assumed duties including baths and oral care, toileting, feeding, supporting with communication, helping with shopping, taking care for activities including hospital appointments while maintaining cleanliness and safety at home environment. In these job roles I gained broad knowledge and experience in providing professional support to service users to enable and promote independent living and fulfilment.
I have successfully attained a first aid certificate in AED, CPR and First aid, a certificate in caregiving skills - Dementia, and a diploma in caregiving. I also possess a diploma in nursing and patient care. Apart from the IELTS test that I successfully completed in January 2022, gaining a mean score of 6.5 equivalent to CEFR Level B2, i am fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with Pfizer vaccine. Not to mention that i have a negative/clean medical report from Hepatitis B and Tuberculosis screening.
Furthermore, I have successfully completed several courses including certificates in safeguarding vulnerable adults, elderly care and caring for the disabled, depression and alcohol misuse.
