Since 2020, I have been able to get out of my comfort zone and operate as a self employed individual under Revamped Interior Studio, where daily I get to work with developers, suppliers, architects and clients from different backgrounds. I've managed to understand working with tender documents, deriving budgets based on briefs and seeing through projects from concept to completion.
The desire to be self employed came about in 2016-2020 where I was Freelance and tended to previous clients who were impressed with my work ethic and results. Here i managed to garner plenty of contacts, most through referrals, and build my client list and knowledge deeper in design. Prior to that I had worked at Sky Planet Design Company Limited where I took up more roles and was the Projects Lead, Interior designer as well as the Business development executive. I basically was in charge of the Sales, Design and Project Management of the firm. I managed to garner sales of Kshs. 10million+ in the first quarter with them and teach other staff important procedures for timely and key results.
