Working within Jaguar Land Rover (Automotive) Global Supplier Integration team (Initially Tools and Technologies, now Product, Programme, Processes and Operations). I lead a small team focused on change (Process, Methods, Tools & Information) within the supplier collaboration pre-production space. The focus is on business improvement, spanning from analysis and improvement of collaboration with suppliers, to global expansion challenges in a fast changing environment. Initially working as a project manager, with the successful delivery of Prince 2 projects across the business and extended enterprise, I now deliver projects through the expanded team covering tactical fixes through to strategic, cross functional developments. While at all times remaining agile enough to respond to supplier / business day to day issues.
I have director experience with the set-up and running of a software development consultancy specialising in bespoke technical tools within the design, manufacturing and engineering environments. With former experience in CAD management, technology leadership, business change, strategic planning, project management and team management – proven in demanding and time critical environments. Additional experience as a software Applications Engineer, Consultant and Training Manager within the reseller environment.

The principle role is to lead a team of PM’s running business change projects aligned to a programme of major (PMT) change across JLR (i-PLM). Facing off to the business and aligning the projects to one another as well as across the business. Liaising with PM’s, IT, PDT’s, Technical delivery leads, Business domain leads, PFM’s, technical experts and the external enterprise to ensure the correct and complete delivery of change, interfacing the future state JLR with the external enterprise (Supplier base, Joint Ventures, ODEC’s etc.).
Tools and Technologies Supplier Integration Team Electrical Project Manager at Jaguar Land Rover

Working within a Prince 2 project management environment, the Global Supplier Integration team (GSI) had a requirement to interface with and deliver change to the Electronics Systems and Software (ESS) landscape. With much changing within the ESS space across the automotive industry, not least JLR. Working closely with IT BRM’s and PM,s, business customers, extended enterprise (ODEC) customers and technical experts across JLR electrical, successful delivery of three projects incorporating process, methods, tools, and connectivity solutions to the customer and to the extended enterprise worldwide.
CAD Manager / Technology Lead at Parkburn Precision Handling systems Ltd.

Parkburn (PPHS) are an engineering company specialising in the design and delivery of marine handling systems, both military and commercial. The principle role involved moving the company’s design environment from dated 2D design systems and insular tools, through to a modern 3D collaborative integrated design environment, utilising Autodesk Manufacturing software (Inventor 3D CAD software, Vault data management) and a suite of supporting software including Ansys Simulation for computational modelling, 3DSmax for visualisation and Mathcad to mention a few. The role accommodated the requirements for a Design Engineer, a Project Manager and a CAD manager over this period, with responsibility for the CAD design team, development and roll out of formal processes, procedures and best practices, as well as strategic planning, departmental and supplier integration, staff training, support, systems appraisals, upgrades and maintenance. Concurrent with business change was the development of a long term multi-million (£) design contract which was both driving and funding the change and relied completely on new design processes and tools. The design was fully realised and was successfully commissioned in May 2012.
