Having completed my degree in Manufacturing Engineering & Management at Loughborough University I am able to bring detailed technical knowledge into the Commercial environment. Won the ‘Contribution to Business’ awards for saving GKN c.£3m
Led Project introducing load and pressure transducers into hydraulic presses to facilitate Poka-Yoke defect prevention, removing the need for manual quality checks down the line.
Implemented semi automated conveyor system to optimize die changes on equipment, this helped to reduce damage caused by forklifts and freed one for use elsewhere.
Creation and modifications of FMEA documents.
Involved in VE-VA (Value Engineering & Value Analysis) task team, working on site, and offering support to other GKN subsidiaries.
