Prior to my employment with the Wandsworth Group I was at the University of Bath studying for a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances; I did not finish this degree.
Achievements
During my time as a draughtsman, I made significant improvements to the CAD production process which resulted in a substantial increase to the efficiency of producing wiring diagrams. This project was conducted of my own accord and I was awarded an iPad for my efforts. My passion and enthusiasm is further evidenced in my appointment as the Wandsworth Groups head staff representative.
Recently, I was instrumental in instigating a value engineering project aimed at reducing the covered cost of our IP nurse call system. Through various design innovations and by sourcing cheaper components, a significant reduction to the cost of the Wandsworth Group’s “IPiN” system was achieved.
I have also been responsible for the design of several very large nurse call projects. An extensive portfolio of my work is available upon request.
