2013: SANS 401 Security Course
A course for industry professionals that covers IT security from both a technical and management perspective. Topics are not limited to, but include cryptography, hacking techniques, packet inspection and security risk models.
2007-2008: Nova Career Center
Welding & Fitting: A complete 15 months course on the study of industry standard welding procesess, as well as detailed study of ANSI/ISO drawings and dimensions, study of welding theory, and a study of shop machinenery.

Bach. Mechanical Engineering: Brief studies in Mechanical Engineering including Technical drafting and Physics.

Network Administration: The design and maintenance of a network infrastructure including several types of client/server-oriented systems like Windows, Novell and Linux. Courses also included the studies for Cisco Certified Network Administration and PC repair.

2005-Present – Rideau Recognition Solutions – St-Laurent, Quebec, Canada
Currently, I am in charge of the design, deployment and support of the physical and logical network infrastructure, including security technologies (IDS, Firewall) and multi-point (VPN) systems for a SaaS Provider servicing over 300 customer portals. I currently managed 3 primary locations, with a number of remote users and offices around the world. Due to the nature of my position, and my expertise in IT, I am one of 2 employees that are regularly on call (24/7) to support our mission critical assets.
Because of the size of the senior technical team, my work necessitates solid knowledge linux and windows environment in system, web, database and VMware administration. In addition to this, and due to my adaptability in IT, I play a key role in technology acquisition and implementation. At this point in time some of the projects that I am working on is Security Architecture planning and a state of the art private cloud with software-defined-storage.

During my stay I performed technical support in a variety of IT domains including connectivity (VPN, LAN), simple and advanced PC operations and junior domain account administration. I regularly dealt with Hewlett-Packard VPs and I was on critical teams to support income-generating, customer facing employees.

During my time at ALCIE, I was in charge of the revision and redesign of the entire ALCIE web site. I also designed and created a child company’s website. In addition to the graphic arts work that I did, I also advised them on revisions of their antiquated network solutions.

Although I’ve only been volunteering for Visions Camp for a short time, I was fast-tracked into their Core-Team (middle-management) and finally to sit as Co-Director of the organization. As a volunteer leader of 25+ staff, I am ultimately responsible for everything that is camp related, whether that be our finances, our marketing, or our actual program.

I worked with On Rock Community services for nearly a dedicated, starting off as a simple volunteer in their Drop-In center program for teenagers. Over my time there, I eventually became a Team lead, volunteering up to 3 nights a week, and directing a drop-in program for young adults.
