I joined Saipem in January 2011, who operates as the main contractor for New booster station project and new intermediate slug catcher for Kuwait oil company. The project cost is approximately 1.2 Billion Dollars. My role is coordinate and supervise the subcontractors construction activities, clients and consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the direction of the pipeline project construction activities, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hire, supervising multidisciplinary construction works according to contract requirements and project objectives;
- Ensure time, costs, quality, safety targets are met, through direct coordination and management of a project construction team, interfacing with project organization, subcontractors and clients;
- Support project management in defining, monitoring and updating project execution plans;
- Ensure the implementation of HSE procedures for construction and pre-commissioning;
- Ensure the implementation of site quality control plan;
- Give the guidelines for the definition of construction strategies, such as subcontracting plans, logistic and constructability studies, during the earlier stages of the project;
- Participate in defining the overall project planning and scheduling for construction activities, with the support of the expertise of construction organization key positions;
- Ensure the application and, where not already arranged in the planning phase, the issue of suitable procedures for the definitions of working methods and site regulations;

- Assist Design Department in solving Piping Modification and Technical Problems in the Field.
- Provide technical answers to Engineering Queries raised up by the sub-contractor confirming design drawings and standard requirements.
- To study the vendor manuals for monitoring the materials delivery and ensuring all inspection of material/equipment as per vendor specification.
- Responsible for counter checking the spools erected in the correct location, orientation and alignment.
- provide technical assistance, direction, and support to the construction and installation activities for all Mechanical/pipelines and Piping works.
- Review design documents and provide constructability input to designs. Participate in model reviews resolving constructability challenges.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING from L.B.S COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, Kannur University, Kerala, India.
12th in science group passed from Higher Secondary Education Board, Kerala.
S.S.L.C passed from Kerala State Secondary Education Board.
Approved LIHS (Leadership In Health & Safety) trainer from Saipem Corporate.
IELTS score of band 7.0
