PROJECT MANAGER

Involved with the acquisition and evolvement of €10.5m mixed-use (private and social housing) development site in Navan, Co. Meath from the planning stage. Duties included selection of the design team, liaising closely with local council, statutory bodies, utility companies, solicitors and clients, taking the scheme through to unit completions.

SITE MANAGER/CLERK OF WORKS

Charged with programming and co-ordination of on-site operations in a £6m luxury residential scheme. Other duties included setting out with use of total station, managing assistant site managers, finishing foremen and sub-contractors logistically, ensuring their work was in keeping with their method statements and risk-assessments within HSE legislation and closely monitoring of workmanship. Recording and updating of all site documentation from employee timesheets to Health & Safety forms. Gained promotion.

PURCHASING COORDINATOR AND INVENTORY CONTROLLER

Main responsibilities included purchase of all materials (where I gained experience in use of Sage Accountancy software) and procurement of service requirements for the group; ensuring materials were acquired on the most competitive terms possible taking into account price, quality, payment terms and service; liaison with on-site personnel regarding material delivery and condition; stock control and compilation of valuation reports for Financial Controller/ Commercial Manager. Gained promotion.

PROJECT SURVEYOR

Project Surveyor on five various projects in N.I. and R.O.I. Duties involved drawing up BOQ’s, setting up sub-contract packages, carrying out on-site measuring, processing interim valuations and agreeing final accounts. Gained promotion.
