Volunteer Experience
Volunteer at the JA Finance Park (May 2012) at Junior Achievement of South Florida

Junior Achievement’s core purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. JA World is a facility that has two “mini-city” experiential programs, JA BizTown for 5th graders and JA Finance Park for 8th graders. These programs significantly transform how local 5th and 8th grade students will be taught to view the world of work, free enterprise, and his or her possibilities for success. After 25 hours of curriculum taught in the classroom by the teacher, students will embark on their one day JA World experience where they’ll put into practice what they’ve learned back at school. Volunteers are needed to help guide, assist, and facilitate students in a specific storefront during their on-site simulation of JA BizTown and JA Finance Park.
