Develop and manage technical services failure investigation plans globally and communicate to customers, suppliers, internal/external stakeholder and higher management; Conduct risk assessment and ensure compliance to Cummins standards of Health and Safety at site.
Facilitate continuous improvement of investigation, verification and validation processes; Provide training for Tech Centre Engineers, Service Engineers and Customers’ Field Engineers.
Give guidance on developing specialised test techniques to meet technical data collection needs, including remote data acquisition and telemetry applications; Assist product validation activity globally where required, assessing plant capability to maximise utilisation and capability, developing best-in-class field test capabilities.
Major Projects:
Managed DFSS 6-Sigma projects on technical improvement in Cummins in-house developed data acquisition system as well as specified a capable system to acquire data from remote sites.
Supported technical services investigations over 15 million USD globally; Led risk assessment and compliance to Cummins Health and Safety standards as Senior Authorised Person; Developed test procedures; analysed diagnostic data and wrote reports.

Manage Six-Sigma projects to optimize test cell data acquisition processes to increase testcell utilization and productivity. Increase data confidence level by reducing measurement uncertainties and optimizing process stabilization; Identify and drive projects which have potential of cost saving/avoidance, time saving or improving quality of data acquired from the test cells.
Lead all work related to Automation Software System for Engineering Test (ASSET) including writing project proposals, raising purchase orders and requisitions for capital; Write, debug and test code for controls software for performance testing of engine; Troubleshoot, further develop and optimise controls and stability to reduce variance.
Major Projects:
Achieved savings over 250k USD by redesigning and optimising data acquisition and control software in a DMAIC Six-Sigma project.
Managed system improvement 6-Sigma project to avoid unnecessary re-running of same data points and saved over 50k USD.
Supported 2M USD upgrade of performance test cell and overlooked equipment commissioning; Managed & implemented complete control system integration for complex containerised test cell.
