AirQUIS Measurement & Modeling (Air Quality Monitoring Software)
The AirQUIS system contains the following modules:
Geographical Information System (GIS): Locating Air pollution sources on the geographical map of UAE, viewing the measurement stations on a map with the pollution sources, and searching for geographically linked data in the database.
Automatic Data Acquisition System (ADACS): Retrieving measurement data such as meteorology and air quality data from a variety of sources.
Statistical and Graphical Presentation Tools: Familiar with linear graphs, bar charts, Pie charts, etc.
Emission Inventor: Accounting of the amount of pollutants discharged into the atmosphere.
Emission Model: Import of source data and emission data as well as a modern emission inventory data base with emission models.
Wind Model: Gathered information’s of wind speed data, and obtained a good description of the wind field in a complex terrain.
Dispersion Model: Did some mathematical simulation of how air pollutants disperse in the ambient atmosphere.
Exposure Model: Population Exposure.
On-line measurement system: Meteorological Data, Air Quality data, and Meta database (station description, instrument description, etc).
