RESPONSIBILITIES WITH DOLPHIN ENERGY(SEPT 2007 – TILL DATE)
• Review scope of work to ensure that all technical details, drawings, specifications including Inspection and Test Plan(ITP) requirements are complete in all aspects meeting the requirements and overall execution plans.
• Co-ordinate and assist in the preparation of tender documents, bid clarification, bid evaluation and submit recommendation for selection of contractors.
• Supervise the engineering work of Consultant as per project SOW and manage design change notice.
• Ensure timely review of key documents/drawings by other departments.
• Participate in constructability reviews.
• Report on project status and highlight areas of concern and propose solutions.
• Make presentation to all stakeholders on elements of project strategy, criticality, constraints, status, resolution paths in the readiness review meetings and clarify the path forward.
• Interface with procurement sections to review the status of procurement activities and take corrective action.
• Identify items in critical path to closely monitor the related predecessor and successor activities.
• Facilitate reservation of all free issue materials to Contractors.
• Carry out regular visits to Consultant/Contractor Office to follow up on various progresses.
• Approve method statements and facilitate Task Risk Assessment (TRA).
• Review and approve contractor submitted project schedule and mobilization plan.
• Conduct Kick Off meeting with Contractors along with Operational Staff for the plant modification works.

• Plan, Co-ordinate, Supervise and Control the execution of the assigned contractors and personnel engaged in the execution of project activities throughout all phases of project from engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and handover of facilities.

• Manage Interfaces between contractors at field to avoid overlaps and relook the sequence of activities to define the battery limits and to avoid delays in execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES WITH WORLEY PARSONS(NOVEMBER 2006– AUGUST 2007)
• Single point responsibility to manage and engineer multi-discipline oil & gas projects from detail design, scope of work, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover and close out.
• Obtain approvals for resource plan, cost estimation and schedule from Client based on concept study report
• Organize Kick Off Meeting with Client, Contractors and Subcontractors.
• Organize Key engineering meetings viz. P & ID Review Meeting, 3 D Model Reviews, HAZOP, Safety Studies with Client and conduct regular project review meetings.
• Review design and drawings to ensure conformance to Client requirements.
• Liaise closely with Client Project Engineer to implement project plan and scope of work to meet the project commitment.
• Visit Site along with the project team to understand the site conditions and evaluate realistic quantum of work involved to prepare drawings and SOW.
• Interact closely with Engineering Discipline Heads and Principal Consultant Engineers to adhere to the project plan for timely release of engineering deliverables.
• Update project manager regularly on the progress status.
• Liaise regularly with procurement and construction team to monitor and expedite the procurement and construction preparation of various tasks for achieving the project objectives.

• Prepare scope of works and bill of quantities for the plant modification works.
• Estimate cost and schedule requirements and obtain approval from management.
• Co-ordinate with multidiscipline engineering staff to obtain detailed engineering drawings.
• Compile SOW documents and floated tenders to invite bids from the long term in house contractors.
• Evaluate, negotiate and recommend award of work.
• Liaise with procurement team for vendor clarifications and timely receipt of materials.
• Facilitate reservation of all free issue materials to Contractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES WITH MADRAS FERTILIZERS (FEBRUARY 1991 – OCTOBER 2004)
• Co-ordinate and Liaise with Process Licensors and EPIC contactor to provide the data sheets, P & ID, plot plans, general arrangement drawing, manuals, etc for feasibility and debottlenecking studies of the revamp of ammonia and urea plants.
• Co-ordinate site visits and meetings with EPIC contractors.
• Conduct pre-bid meetings, evaluate bids and recommend award of work for Vendors and Contractors.
• Participate as a team member in the Kick Off Meetings with Consultant and EPIC Contractors.
• Liaise with Detailed Engineering Consultant and obtain technical recommendation for bids to further initiate the Owner responsibility of procurement of equipment and piping.
• Expedite delivery of equipment at vendors works.
• Monitor time and costs associated with the project and controlled the execution.
• Prepare monthly progress reports for projects in hand to update management on status, highlights, concerns, cash flow, variations, etc to facilitate quick decision making.
