Conducting planned, routine and preventative maintenance on lighting, trace heating, motors, switchgear and power generation; including UPS systems, PLC’s and switchboard cubicles 

Involved in the installation, commissioning and testing of various electrical systems 

Carrying out HV switching up to 13.8Kv, and isolations and de-isolations of equipment when required 

Primary and Secondary injection testing on Cubicles 

Undertaking HAE (ATEX) inspections and a member of the platform fire team 

Writing permits and isolation certificates, and assisting operations prepare for annual shutdown works 

Updating and maintaining SAP and ISSOW systems with accurate and timely information 

Aker Electrical Rep for a 2 x New Installation (West Franklin & Elgin B)

Responsible for overseeing and signing off work from installation to client sign off (TOTAL), following testing and commissioning 

Part of the Elgin Franklin maintenance team during an evacuation in March 2012 due to a major gas leak; one of the first maintenance member back on-board to assist with plant clean up and restart under extreme circumstances; re-establishing required safety standards and fully operational status
