CHINA HARBOUR-Qatar May 2015 –August 2015

Wworking on the New port Project in Qatar, This is a short duration assignment at the request of the Project Management Consultants, working with a team of 13 Safety Engineers and Officers on the dismantling and demobilisation of the project, duties include, representing the company at various senior meetings, preparation of various reports and client presentations.

 

GALLIFORD TRY Carrington Power Station -September 2014- May 2015

Employed as resident Health and Safety Manager on the building of 3 buildings on Carrington Power station on the outskirts of Manchester, duties included Permit to work control, site inspections, Chemical assessment, subcontractor, RAMS approval and representing the organisation at all levels.

 

CHINA HARBOUR-Qatar January- August 2014

A valued member of the HSE department reporting to the Group Director for this discipline. This is a site based role on the prestigious Lusail Project Qatar in preparation for the 2022 world cup. The purpose of this role is to lead a team of HSE Officers on the site, Issue of Permits to control activities, liaising with clients and Project management teams in a diverse cultural environment on a Pipe installation project which included a large RC pumping station which is onshore with 2 Km of offshore pipeline works working with 4 No jack up barges in shallow water.

Acting as Lead QSHE Officer to the Gywnt y Mor Offshore WIndfarm Project in North Wales.

This was an assurance role initiated at the request of the client, RWE. I also performed HSE

Audits on Tugs and Jack up Barges ran induction courses and set objectives in line with the site requirements.
