Carry out servicing, Fan Blades Inspection/Replacement/Re-lube, Fan Case Mating/Splitting, replacement and installation of components such as pneumatic valve/pipe, starter, starter duct/valve, hydraulic/engine driven pump, fuel/oil pump, oil/fuel filter, variable frequency generator, exhaust tail cone/plug, anti-ice pipe/valve in accordance with the latest revision of aircraft maintenance manual.

• Perform Receive-in inspection inventory check and dispatch as per Aircraft Maintenance Manual.

• Assist Engineer in borescope inspection on gas turbine engine compressors and turbines.

 Perform assembly tasks of brand new Gas turbine Engine RB211 Trent900/1000 in line with work Instructions and Engineering Drawing such as jointing of Intermediate Pressure Compressor to Intermediate Case Stub Shaft, Fan shaft to Intermediate Pressure Compressor, High Pressure Compressor to Intermediate Case Stub Shaft, Intermediate Pressure Turbine to High Pressure Compressor, Low Pressure Turbine to Intermediate Pressure Turbine by using overhead crane, fixture and special tooling.

 Carry out installation of Main Gearbox, bleed valves/solenoid, igniters, sensors, thermocouples, cooling manifolds/tubes/pipes/ducts, Fuel/oil filter, brackets and harnesses in accordance with the fitting instruction, arrangement and engineering drawing.

 Perform full strip and re-build for Return to Shop Engine (Failed Test) in accordance with Assembly Control Record and Manufacturing Execution System.

 Raised non-conformances on quality/build issues in assembly line and carry out self-inspection and over check-inspection tasks.

 Carry out Training for new or existing technicians in the build line in accordance with engineering drawing, Installation Instruction and arrangement drawing respectively and lead the team at all time in performing the daily task.

 Perform general workshop housekeeping activities before and after the shift.

 Awarded as Best Trainee on first Cohort Technician.

 Set up and organize shop floor/workstation in Regional Training Center workshop and Engine Assembly Line in accordance with Rolls-Royce Production System.

 Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects, HS&E activities in the workshop and problem solving using tools such as ISHIKAWA, FMEA, DMAIC.

 Involved in simulation and actual production of the first RB211 T900 Gas Turbine Engine.

 Create Service Management Order under System Application Products transaction for IR (Internal Repair) parts to their respective in-house repair departments and send overhauled parts out-house under vendor code through SAP transaction.

 Release parts back to assembly line as new, serviceable, inspected, repaired and overhauled in accordance with customer requirements, engine work scope, approved documentation and Authorized Released Certificate.

 Trained new technician in daily inspection task as per Engine manual, Cleaning Inspection Repair Manual and Illustrated Parts Catalogue accordingly with the latest revision.

 Perform daily housekeeping and check tooling checklist inventory for calibration monitoring.

 Continuous Improvement KAIZEN team member.

 Involved in Health Safety & Environment activities in the workshop.

 Certifying Technician Approval obtained on September 2009.
