• Gained strong skills in financial analysis, which has made me much more confident in statistical decision-making skills.

Summer 2012
• Worked for the organization Art in Tanzania.
• Spent my time teaching young children how to read and write, as well as setting up development projects.
• I learned to work with many people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, something I know is very important in the workplace.
Volunteer work in Thailand
Summer 2015
• Taught English at Wat Sri Soda School in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand.
• Helped set up numerous development projects and events.
• Took part in many different activities including: treks, hiking, elephant camps, and local meditation classes.

• Worked as a sales assistant in the flagship store of one of Britain’s leading retailers.
• Learned how to deal with customer related issues under pressure in one of London’s busiest locations.
• My responsibilities were to maintain high standards of display and reach sales targets.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND ACTIVITIES
Arts & Humanities Ambassador:
• When recruiting, the faculties look for responsible, composed students.
• Involved in many open days and recruitment events.
Barrister Society:
• Attended many different career talks with law firms and networking events.
• Have gained a Westlaw Certificate.
• Law Competitions: Finished second in the national NRF GP Challenge 2014 and the Sagar Wright Negotiation Competition 2014
Social Enterprise Summer School 2015:
• Took part in a three-week online summer school.
• Learnt the basics of social enterprise.
• Had to produce a reflective blog as well as business model canvas of my own idea.
INTERESTS
Sport
• Football: Currently captain a five a side charity football team and play for philosophy during the week
• Martial arts: Take part in weekly Muay Thai sessions.
Chess
• Currently an active chess player for Chess Society.
Drama
• Have taken on many different roles in numerous productions.
• Previously won the House Drama Competition of 2012.
