 Involved in preparing hardware functional specifications, Identified the suitable chip-set & vendors to the project

 Involved in preparing circuit schematics, BOM and component indenting.

 Involved in negotiating the component pricing and support for the project with various vendors

 Involved in power dissipation, real estate calculations and making probable PCB template.

 Involved in preparing inputs for PCB template creation, mechanical case design, thermal analysis and heat sink design and verification.

 Involved in SPI, SGMII and XAUI etc interface simulations for SI using hyperlynx tool.

 Involved in making routing constraint set.

 Involved in preparation of guidelines for CAD placement and routing, experience in reviewing of cad placement and routing, experience in designing test plan and test cases for hardware device testing.

 Involved in boundary scan testing using XJTAG.

 Involved in unit testing, EPLD programming, testing of interfaces like UART, SPI, DDR3/DDR2, PCIe, GMII, RGMII, SGMII, XAUI, RXAUI etc. and board bringup and system Integration testing.

 Involved in testing of SFP and SFP+ transceiver modules of different wavelength and tunable SFP+.

 Involved in preparation of technical documents, assembly instruction documents and system level documents.

 Involved in system EMI/EMC certification and environmental certification.
