Working as a blaster painter on a walk to work project in the southern sector of the North Sea utilising rope access techniques whenever neccessary to arrive at the workface on platform 27a. Adhering to strict and detailed offshore method statements compiled as per normal stringent offshore risk assesments and along with CAPE internal risk anaylsis methods.

JULY 2015 to JULY 2015,
Rope access Blasting and Painting Technician, Delta International

Continuing to provide rope access blasting and painting services along with steel fixing services as a team member of Delta International on the ExonMobile Fawley Refinery. Working to strict health and safety guidelines along with being fully conversant with the LPS Loss prevention System implemented by exonmobile and adopted the SPSA Safe Performance Self Assessment methodology.

Utilising previous experience with blasting and painting techniques assisted SMS in the maintenance of various sized silos containing various different material. Ensure that the previous works at the Raithwaite estate were updated to accommodate ever changing needs as the estate grew in desirability and client expectations changed to suit this. This would include managing the furnishings contracts along with sourcing, design and installation of operational supplies and equipment to leisure use cottages along with ancillary 24 bed units within the estate. Refurbishment of a countryside lake house into a country retreat to a 5 star luxury finish.

Cost and design appraise new build sips lodges for leisure use. Engage in JCT DandB contract for 9 of the 46 approved units within the estate valued at 1.2m whilst further developing infrastructure for the remaining units and possible other areas within the estate. Design and develop integral 5 star dog grooming spa, installation of external improvements to assist in fluent estate management and develop further ideas on better facilities and infrastructure. Develop project order of works to ensure uninterrupted estate running whilst construction works were ongoing.

Undertook the above role on a developing hotel estate and delivered 12 refurbished and 3 new built cottages to be added to the estates luxury holiday let portfolio. Acted as the client representative and would be available to undertake exempt works missed from contracts undertaken by third party contractors to ensure smooth running of the estate as a whole in both the development, opening and ongoing stages. The works undertaken included the design assistance and installation of sewage treatment plants, design and build of a sips structured employers resource centre, installation and alteration of service infrastructure, hard and soft landscaping along with frequent visits to assist the “parallel contracts” project manager on fulfilling his role.

Took over part built mixed use development of 12 high end luxury apartments, 11 offices, Retail Outlet for a financially restrained company on a highly visible and delicate City Centre Project. Completed build to Code for sustainable homes Code 4 without the early stage design and coordination assistance from predecessor. Engaged new, and continued with existing sub-contracts to ensure quality finishes throughout.

Took over part built 46 unit residential apartment block for a financially restrained company. Engaged new contractors and continued with existing sub-contracts to ensure that each unit reached completion with limited finance and resources.

A highly professional infantry soldier working with and as part of highly regarded team throughout various roles and tours. Achieved sniper qualification whilst touring the extreme cold conditions of the Falkland Islands and arduous terrain of East Africa. Team medic predominantly throughout service career.
