Process analysis and involvement of the different stakeholders (supply chain, production and customers) in order to achieve cost reduction, increase quality and reduce the lead time. Reduction of the lead time by 33%. Implementation of 5S and continuous improvement culture.

• Selection, implementation and qualification of new equipments (router, cleaning system, hot bar soldering) based on IQ, OQ and PQ method. Design of fixtures required for the operation. Use of Cp and Cpk to asses the capability of the machine.

• Development of the “lean culture” and implementation of 5S activities on the shop floor (around 250 operators). Lead training sessions to allow the production team to familiarize with this concept and raise the expected output of the project. Successful implementation in most of the departments, shop floor has bought in the activity and is now part of the company’s culture.

• Create procedures to reflect the best manufacturing practises and standardise them through the production site.

• Prepare and align procedure in order to pass the “Nadcap” certification. Certificate obtained in 2015.

• Qualification of new build and transfer on our Filipino site.

• Creation of a new layout for the factory to optimise flow of product and efficiency.

• P-FMEA analysis.

Internship at Baker No-tillage, Palmerston North, New Zealand
February 2012-June 2012

Company designing and producing seeding machines equipped with innovating cross-slot technology.

• Development and design of a toolbar (seeding machine) for Canada. Research on the road legislation and design using Solidworks, maintaining communication and management of the project on a high standard level. It especially allowed me to develop a good organisation skill. The seeding machine is now operational and used by the customer.

• Creation of a new model of seeding machine. This project involved brainstorming meetings, analysis of competitors’ products, design on Solidworks, analytic and finite element modelling.

Internship at MGE-emboutissage, Sail-Sous-Couzan, France
Sept 2010-Jan 2011

French company of 80 people specialized in stamping in the operation department.

In charge of two main projects which were:

• Design and develop a new process to produce a metallic conveyor’s part for mass production. After the first step of research, I had to involve several stakeholders (tool suppliers, technicians, production manager and customers) in the project, coordinate them and design a suitable stamping process using VISI and Catia.

• Improvement of production performance, especially implementation of SMED techniques. The major achievement was the test and the implementation of clamping system. The major challenge was to analyze and deal with different points of view on the improvement of the production system. Time reduced by 22%
