As a history graduate and an experienced sales advisor, my tenacious and proactive approach to research, analysis, and customers has resulted in numerous important sales wins. My excellent client focus and ability to develop client relationships has not only allowed me to achieve high sales figures but also high data capture figures in order to promote to a growing client database. My organisational skills have also allowed me to balance many projects at once, ensuring that all deadlines are met with work that excelled expectation. I am currently seeking a challenging role in marketing communications which will utilise my meticulous attention to detail, and friendly, professional manner.

McArthurglen Group – Marketing and Market Research Analyst
Sept ’15 – Oct ‘15
• Pushed a ‘family and friends’ Autumn/Winter fashion email campaign across two weekends. Customers that were already in the client database were invited to get an extra discount but to also bring along family and friends.
• During the two weekends I pro actively and effectively increased the client database by 30%.
• Correctly and efficiently updated the McArthurGlen CRM system with the new data capture details.
• Helped to plan the logistics of the centre-wide promotion, and the role each of the 65 brands at the McArthurglen outlet would have in the event.
• Briefed and managed an external promotions team.
• Performed an analysis of the event and its current procedure and recommended improvements – these improvements were implemented by the European marketing director.
Hawes & Curtis and Ghost – Sales Advisor

• Promoted events both online via social media and in-store – increased footfall and sales during typically quiet periods (such as late night openings).
• Took a course in visual merchandising in order to excel at physical advertising. I implemented this in-store predominantly with window displays that led to increased sales in displayed items.
• Consecutively gained the highest sales and data capture figures out of all 65 brands at McArthurGlen East Midlands achieving awards from the McArthurGlen Marketing Team for top performance.
• Provide advice to customers for luxury clothing at a very high standard.
• Measure customers for specific and fully bespoke tailoring in a professional manner.

September ‘14- October ‘14
• Evolved existing marketing strategy to include customer testimonials, promotional merchandise for existing customers, and more employee information on the company website, which were implemented to make the firm seem more approachable and caring as it mainly catered to families.
• Developed and implemented social media strategy across Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. Social engagement increased by 8% during the end of my placement.
• Created a follow up client satisfaction survey and pre-service questionnaire in order to enhance and develop the firm’s client database. This increased the database by 15% during my time at the firm.
• Coordinated the marketing strategy of two of the company’s local firms- Used social media and the company website to promote a discounted advice day at both firms. This resulted in a higher footfall than when the event took place in the previous year.
• Frequently researched the competitor market and utilized my analysis to advise relevant departments on market changes.
• Lead the design and distribution of merchandise such as seasonal calendars in order to build a relationship with existing customers.
