Makaza is a confident, resourceful, hardworking and conscientious British Airways Aircraft Maintenance trainee. Besides British Airways aircraft maintenance training, he also had several placements with General Electric Wales (Aircraft engine manufactures). During his training, placements and current work, Makaza has improved his modifying, maintenance, Installation, rectification, repairs and troubleshooting defects skills on aircraft most systems including; Jetstream 31, B777, B787, B747 and A380 airframes and engines. He also possess exceptional leadership, teamwork and business management skills gained through many work experiences. My duties at Johnson Security included coach building by following engineering drawings instructions and maintaining healthy and safety for myself and others around me. I was responsible for taking part in mechanical and electrical parts assembly. It was also my duty to do the fabrication and installation of security systems in the vehicles. The experience gained while working at Johnson Security improved my technical skills as well as my teamwork, communication and time management skills.

I worked within a team of engineers repairing aircraft airframe, landing gears, Inflight entertainment, cabin fitting, engine repairs, removal and installations and most aircraft systems. I was also responsible for reading electronic Aircraft Maintenance Manuals to locate parts and carryout repairs this task improved my ability to read, follow-up and understand technical documents, which are essential as a mechanic. While working at BA I complied with the Heath and Safety regulations to maintain a conducive and safe environment. My communication skills made it easy for me to integrate with different teams in the company. As a member of a team I contributed, encouraged and help other members to improve our work.
