- Prepare MR/PR based on the MTO & Select the Suitable Suppliers prior to Tendering according to company approved supplier list, Issue of RFQ Tender Documents to Suppliers.

- Review and approve the Main SD contractor’s Material & logistics plans for personnel, materials, tools and Equipement transportation to ensure Timely and safe deliveries.
- Provide key interface between all SAP user groups in the Shutdown Materials management.
- Follow-up and coordinate the custom Clearnance actitivites at Site (sea frieght) and with head office for (Air frieght).
- Monitor and report the latest schedule for each purchase order by monitoring EXW Dates, delivery dates and fabrication progress including vendor’s documentation and subcontractors main suborders.
- Coordinate the Technical Evaluations of the SD Purchase Orders between the Supplier and the Technical Departments.
- Undertake occasional visits to vendors, suppliers, and contractors for assessment and incorporation of good materials practice.
- Participate in Preparing in advance material, tools and equipment list for each shutdown job in conjunction with Yemen LNG Maintenance Dept. and Contractors.
- Follow up and send requests for spare parts (via SAP) and assure timely delivery to site.
- Participate in define needs in terms transportation & waste management.
- Participate in preparing SD Village in plant (with LOG and GS).
- Participate in assuring that all required lifting and site transportation resources are ready on due time.
- Coordinate with HSE the conformity of CONTRACTOR equipment .
- Coordinate Identifying means required and available in terms of cars, cranes, hiab truck, flatbed, vacuum truck, cleaning equipment & others specifics equipment. Identifies additional requirements to take care of.
- Maintain & Update Materials, tools and equipment procurement status reports.
- Maintain and provide regular updates of materials and tools tracking documents.
- Consider the budget for the shutdown, making sure that the best technical and economic solutions are chosen.
- As regards materials and tools, ensures proper coordination on site of preparatory, shutdown, and close-out works and present on site for duration of preparation, shutdown and close-out works and supervise shutdown crew and coordinate with Shutdown Coordinators.
- Ensure proper capturing and implementation of lessons learned recommendations in future shutdown plans.
- Ensure effective safety and security procedures are in place and monitors compliance to ensure safety and security of personnel and assets and compliance with environmental protection standards and legislation.
- Post-shutdown activity – participates to close out all work packs and modification dossiers. Ensure intervention / close-out reports finalised for each shutdown task.
- Supervise and coordinate follow up and administration of spare parts after shutdown work completion, ie returning excess spare parts to Warehouse, arranging for reconditioning of some spare parts, write off and scrap used parts which can not be reconditioned.
- Foster broad and open collaboration between YLNG and the contractors to share objectives and establish the right conditions for the operations to achieve the said objectives.
- Make sure that all the Contractor Staff, Tools and equipements are Demobilized (re-exported) at the due time to avoid any over-charges or standby charges.
