Heading and coaching all aspects of the operations (Sales, Service, Parts, suppliers, etc.) my main responsibilities were:
P&L for the entire operation.
Drive sales and customer relationships to grow revenue, and monitoring expenses in order to minimize the operation cost.
Oversee, negotiate and maintain the supplier’s relationship
Build contacts and knowledge across the construction industry to identify business opportunities.
Develop strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions and recommending objectives.
Expand the business in all directions by increasing our customer data base, penetrating new markets, adding new brands/ products and appointing dealers network.
Accomplish subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements, allocating resources, reviewing progress and making mid-course corrections when needed.
Coordinate efforts by establishing procurement, field, and technical services policies and practices and coordinating actions with corporate staff.
Build company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.

Export Manager Middle East & Africa

Responsibilities and tasks included:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate ExportTrader.com sales goals and objectives. Review market analyses to determine customer needs, and call on customers in an effort to develop new business.
Work with General Manager (USA) & CEO (Canada) in planning sales and promotions. Establish sales objectives by directing sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals to increase ExportTrader.com business.
Analyze sales statistics and prepare periodic sales reports to the General Manager showing sales activities, volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Monitor costs, supply and demand, and analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements. Keep current with changing trends, economic indicators, and the competition.
Represent ExportTrader.com at trade association meetings and deliver sales presentations to key clients. Maintain customer relationships by addressing dealer problems and concerns.
Organize seminars in different countries to introduce our Manheim Export Trader services and educate/ train the customers about the proper way of using them.
2007 – 2008
Territory Manager Middle East
Ritchie Bros.
Responsibilities and tasks included:
Develop and Execute marketing strategies/plans by analyzing current business situations in order to meet group’s business objectives and also to maintain and increase sales. (Advertising/PR/Events/Promotions/Exhibitions/Market research)
Identify, create and qualify new business opportunities.
Obtain consignments from owners and provide them with financial assessments.
Prepare and implement the policies and business plane to insure both vertical and horizontal growth for the territory.
Participate in budget forecasting for the territory.
Educate and enlighten the industrial sector (manufactures, dealers and end users) for our service process and its benefits to them in managing their inventories and influence them to use it.
Manage the dealer network, provide training and necessary support.
Expand the territory/ customer base as the opportunities present themselves.
Capitalize on new deals, appraise the packages, negotiate and close the deal in a way that insures the best interests for both sides to maintain the future business and the loyalty of our customers.

Responsibilities and tasks included:
Establish the company and kick off operations in the UAE, (Documentation, legalization, purchasing, advertisements, hiring, etc.)
Conduct market research, forecasting, pricing, create opportunities to penetrate new markets, and position our company among the biggest three competitors in the area and achieve the desired market share.
Promote the new factory and our products from the main factory in Egypt through the UAE and ME countries, in addition to create/ support a dealer’s network. This position has offered me excellent opportunities to use my previous contacts and to build new relationships within the ME and to gain overall knowledge for each individual market culture and business demand.
2003 – 2005
Branch Manager (Dubai & Northern Emirates)
Al-Hamid Group Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities and tasks included:
Manage the Branch staff and its activities as an independent profit center.
Follow up on day-to-day business for sales, parts and service.
Create and implement plans to promote our products to increase our market share.
Liaise with department’s heads in order to insure smooth operation.
Handle and maintaining good relationship with major accounts.
Supervise government tenders and negotiate the needed support with principals.

Responsibilities and tasks included:
Manage operations through the U.A.E (showrooms, workshops and spare parts outlets)
Prepare the sales plan, forecasting, specifications, production orders and pricing
Manage the communications with the principals. (Suzuki Motor Corporation. Japan).
Arrange for promotion campaigns with marketing department, and liaising with the press.
Provide the sales/technical training for sales staff and the needed support for fleet and government customers.
