Education

Upon completing the International Baccalaureate diploma in high school, I received an offer for the University of Surrey to undertake the study of English Literature with Creative Writing. English Literature was able to educate me in fields such as psychology, philosophy and even the subject of climate change. My degree was an effective stepping-stone to enable me to further undertake a variety of different humanities fields, though I was not interested in pursuing the field of Literature. Shortly after, I received another offer from the same university to study International Events Management. It was an eye-opening experience, since it has taught me how to take responsibility for my group during many group projects, how to lead and govern and how to be effective in real-life situations, such as whilst organizing and hosting events.

I have finished my degree in English Literature with Creative Writing and am now a Masters Degree Graduate in the University of Surrey, studying International Events Management have begun my higher education career with English Literature to broaden my knowledge of the English Language and subsequently moved onto International Events Management to get the expertise and the insight to pursue a field, which I am deeply interested in. Throughout my education I have solely lead teams to create elaborate and intrinsic event proposals and executed them. Furthermore throughout my education I have taken upon myself to take an active part in various societies, as well as focusing on my fundraising for the War Child foundation.

Hobbies And Interests

I have a keen interest in Fashion and travelling. I have been to five out of seven continents (Asia, Europe, North America, Africa). I have been to the past six Milan Fashion Weeks and attended all the Fashion-related parties and events, such as for the fashion houses of Chanel and Gucci, amongst many others. Have previously organized and currently organizing wedding receptions for my friends.

Other Achievements

Ever since I was a child my passion was philanthropy. As part of my philanthropic activities, I have organized ‘nature conservation awareness day’ in my school, for which I have invited WWF representatives to give a lecture on the environmental implications, which daily activities have on the world.

Furthermore, I have taken part in raising money for the War child charity during my years of studies in the United Kingdom, raising awareness and funds for supporting children in war zones throughout the world.

As part of my university program, I was deeply involved in recruitment and events organization for the University of Surrey Russian speaking Society, English Literature Society, Kazakh Society and Business Society.

Leadership Experience & Extracurricular Activities

During my studies in high school, I was involved in various extra curricular activities, such as volunteering for WWF to raise environmental awareness and I was able to implement a green initiative in my school. In high school I was part of the organization team for the 15th anniversary of the school. It was a great experience for me, which indeed was one of the main reasons that now upon finishing university I am thinking of enhancing my employment.

I have also worked in a Transporting company in Russia as a secretary. My responsibilities included holding weekly meetings with drivers and reporting the outcome to the CEO. This was an amazing opportunity, which taught me how to achieve high results by overseeing a large group of people. I had to leave this position after I was admitted to University. I had truly discovered my passion for Leadership after accepting a summer internship in Imperia Lounge in Russia as events coordinator.

Furthermore, I have had the priceless opportunity of running various events for Russian Speaking Society (2012-15).I worked closely with the committee members of the society and helped and supported them in variety of occasions.

I as an Events Management student have an intrinsic understanding and appreciation of the importance of developing, promoting and upselling a powerful and forward-thinking business. I believe that having my experience and education was an interesting and eye-opening journey, but now I am looking for a challenge, which will trigger me to show the full capacity of my skill set as well as my ambitions and perfectionist approach to any tasks I am delegated.
