 Project: Ministry of interior integrated project (KAP 2B-Al Qassim)

KAP2 is geographically distributed all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and there will be sites in different cities there are 5 regions in the project with respect to geographical distribution . The project contains 40 sites consists of different types of buildings and their site infrastructures construction . Security institutes ,Passport institutes ,Drug Control institutes,Border Guards institutes,Training centre for special assignment – Riyadh ,Individual Educational Building of king fahd security college in Riyadh , Special Emergency Forces , Training City of General Security and M.O.I Housing are the types in the scope of the projects . EL-Seif , AL Arrab,Al Rashid (RTCC), G&P and Bec are the Contractors in this project.

 M.O.I – Integrated Project – Al Qasim Area includes:

1. Special Emergency Forces Built up Area:79,500 Sq mtr

2. Training City of General Security Built up Area:90,000 Sq mtr

3. M.O.I Housing Built up Area:200,000 Sq mtr

 Job title: Electrical Site Engineer (Supervision)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Supervise all internal and external construction activities of electrical and Low current systems for sites ( Internal & External lighting system – Normal Power & Mechanical Power Systems – Lightening Protection – Site Grounding – Electrical and low current networks – Elevators – Pumping Systems – Chillers – BMS – UPS – Fire Alarm – Communication – Access control – Audio and visual systems – Queuing System – …….etc).

 Carefully review Electrical shop drawings and approved material submittal to assure that all material delivered meets site requirement in compliance to specification and approved material.

 Follow up and coordination with the other disciplines site engineers regarding any technical issues and construction problems at site.

 Follow up and close coordination with contractor and nominated subcontractors engineers to provide direct technical support regarding any technical issues and construction problems at sites to maintain the quality and workflow efficiency.

 Ensure all the Electrical works completed are in compliance to specification and as per approved shop drawings.

 Attend coordination meetings with the Owner and contractor for design and construction coordination.

 Monitoring the daily, weekly and monthly reports for all site activities.

 Submit progress reports to MEP manager consisting of works completed, works pending and site technical issues.

 Ensure all works completed in a safe manner and highest quality.

KAP3 is geographically distributed all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and there will be sites in different cities there are 5 regions in the project with respect to geographical distribution. The 5th region is the southern part of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. There will be sites in Al-Baha, Abha, Najran, Gazan, and total closed construction area for 41 sites at AL-Baha Area is over 445,000 sqm. The project consist different type of buildings and their site infrastructures construction. Training areas, governmental offices, residential, Police stations, civil defiance, Drug combat management, Police Center, social and educational buildings are the types in the scope of the projects. SBG works as Contractor in this project, and the Client MOI.

Actual Value: 4.3 bn SR total built up area: around 571.234 square integrated strategic (ISP) is one of the most prestigious projects for Ministry of Interior. The project provides more than 574,000 sq.m of built up area on 900,000 sq.m of developed areas. Cost of the project is around 4,300,000,000 SR.ISP consists of 182 buildings, 142 of which are considered ‘small buildings’ such as Regional Police Station, Civil Defense Building, Police Station, High Way Security Centre etc. The buildings construction values varies between 15 million and 45 million. The remaining 42 buildings are considered medium to large and include: Administration building, Governorate Building, Attorney Building, Drug enforcement building….etc. Al-Baha area consist of seven sites and all sites had been completed and handed over to end user where guarantee period almost finished.

 Job title: Senior Electrical Site Engineer (Reporting to E/M Manager)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Responsible for the entire construction activities of electrical and Low current systems for all sites (Internal & External lighting system – Normal Power & Mechanical Power Systems – Lightening Protection – Site Grounding – Electrical and low current networks & infrastructure work – Elevators – Pumping Systems – Chillers – BMS – UPS – Fire Alarm – Communication – Access control – Audio and visual systems – …….etc).

 Manage and supervise subordinate Electrical Engineers and sub-contractors for executing works as per latest approved shop drawings, specifications and schedule.

 Follow up and close coordination with subordinate engineers and nominated subcontractors to provide direct technical support regarding any technical issues and construction problems at sites to maintain the quality and workflow efficiency.

 Monitoring the daily, weekly and monthly reports for the site engineers and subcontractors.

 Submit progress reports to MEP manager consisting of works completed, works pending, site works issues, personnel issues, safety issues with recommend corrective measures.

 Carefully review Electrical shop drawings and provide take off for 1st ,2nd and 3 rd fix material and assure the material delivered meets site requirement in compliance to specification, approved material submittal and shop drawings.

 Coordinate with QA/QC department and raise RFI (Request for Inspection) for all completed Electrical works and ensure that RFI gets approval.

 Manage and prepare testing and commissioning procedures for Electrical and low current systems.

 Notify CM/PM concerning the out of scope of work by providing information such as material quantity, price and personnel required.

 Attend coordination meetings with Owner and consultant for design and construction coordination.

 Ensure all the Electrical works completed are in compliance to specification and as per approved shop drawings.

 Ensure all works completed in a safe manner and highest quality with cost and energy saving.

 Evaluate and recommend feasible construction methodology as per site conditions and as per contract requirements.
