– Liaison Officer between JAF and Orange.

2. Representative of C3 Directorate to Housing and Military Works Directorate
Responsibility: for all new JAF construction projects, I study communication works schemes, edit them as required from end-user,define BOQs, determine systems’ specs, estimate cost and follow up implementation.
3.Supervision and follow up installation, repair, maintenance and change of all switchboard systems (ePABXs) in all JAF sub-units.
4.Coordinate between C3 directorate and different technical directorates relating requests for interconnecting our ePABX systems to provide connecting media like Microwave links, Fiber Optic links, links over IP networks and HDSL and Fiber modems.
5. Planning and coordinating communication needs for huge national celebrations and special events relating to JAF like WEF(World Economic Forum).
6. Coordinate with other security agencies ( Public Security Directorate, Civil Defense Directorate and General Directorate of Gendarmerie) regarding connectivity between JAF HQ PABX and other systems and those directorates.

-ePABX branch is a workshop consists of three sections responsible for managing, maintaining, repairing about 105 PABXs (different sizes range from
48 up to 4000 internal lines) spread all over the country in different organizations/sub-units and most of them interconnected together forming a large network.
-Supervising and leading a team of engineers and technicians working on ePABXs for all JAF directorates/sub-units.
-Planning and coordinating to build a huge PABX network ( about 110 PABXs) serving a large number of directorates/sub-units spread all over the country and create an accurate numbering/dial plan for this purpose to dial extensions directly between those organizations/sub-units without dialing any access codes.
-Managing, maintenance, repairing different kinds of PABXs
(Aastra/ Ericsson, Alcatel, Panasonic, Selta, ….) used by JAF directorates/sub-units.
-Visualizing, Planning, Managing and maintaining Pure TDM systems, Hybrid(IP & TDM) systems and Pure IP systems(Hardware wise).
-Responsible for IP and Voice networks(design, routing, signaling, configuration, troubleshooting).
-Connect PABX network with other IP Telephony systems for some sub-units and directorates, manage and maintain this connection.
-Responsible for interconnecting PABXs together over different links/media (Microwave, fiber optics, LLE leased lines, HDSL modems, Fiber modems, WiMax/OFDM links and tactical links). Coordinate and make orders to request the links from the relevant organization/directorate, receive that link and make necessary test then make the suitable interface(hardware and software) on PABX to put it into service.
-Responsible for Power section which is in turn responsible for managing, maintenance and repair power systems for PABXs (chargers, rectifiers, backup batteries, UPS, stabilizers, generators, air conditioning systems)
-Participate in purchasing committees in procurement directorate to purchase new PABXs and relevant spare parts, formulate and put technical specs and estimate JAF needs for these systems.
-Organizing, preparing, coordinating for courses and sessions in (Switching and PABXs) held in the branch for engineers and technicians and participate in teaching and training.
