Presently working as Senior Mechanical Engineer – Customer Support Dept at MAN Turbomachinary India Pvt. Ltd formerly M/s Maxwatt Turbines Pvt Ltd. Bangalore, recently acquired by MAN Diesel and Turbo A German Group.

The company is expert in manufacturing both condensing and back pressure Turbines with controlled as well as uncontrolled extractions in process industries for cogeneration or captive power generation.

Job profile:

Erection & Commissioning of Steam Turbines, Alternators and exciters.

Erection & commissioning of Turbine Condenser, Condensate extraction pumps Including recirculation system, Vacuum system(i.e. Steam ejectors).

Fabrication of steam and recirculation pipelines as per the P & ID.

Handling the project with manpower and executing the same as per the schedule following all the quality standards.

Preparation of erection and commissioning protocols & checklist as per ISO standards.

Overhauling, troubleshooting and breakdown analysis for the steam turbines and its accessories.

Preparations of operation and maintenance spares list to reduce shut down time.

Conducting training sessions for the operators and training them for the trouble free operations.

Erection and commissioning of 3250KW extraction cum back pressure turbine in KOLON PLASTICS INC, SOUTH KOREA.

Erection and commissioning of 2× 1250 KW straight back pressure turbines in ASIA PAPERS Ltd, SOUTH KOREA. Also attended troubleshooting at HYUNDAI MOTORS, JEONJU PAPERS, POSCO STEELS in SOUTH KOREA

Erection and commissioning of 1000KW back pressure turbine for feed water pump drive in Tendaho sugar factory, ETHIOPIA.

Erection and commissioning of 2000KW straight back pressure power Turbine for G.M. Sugars Ltd, Jinja, UGANDA.

Erection and commissioning of 4MW Extraction cum condensing turbine along with its accessories and condensate piping for Eco Tech papers, Kamalpur, Assam. India

Erection & Commissioning of 3.2MW Bleed Extraction cum Condensing Turbine along with accessories and steam and condensate piping of TG house for G.V.G paper mills ltd udumalpet, Tamilnadu. India

Erection of 3MW Bleed, Extraction cum Condensing Turbine with accessories at Tulasi papers mills ltd, Bardoli, Gujarat.

Troubleshooting of 6MW Extraction Condensing for Radical Bio Organics ltd, Tandur, distillery plant, Andhra Pradesh. India.

Erection & Commissioning of 1080KW Straight back pressure with exhaust pressure of 8 Kg/cm 2 with accessories at Gokul Refoils & Solvents ltd, Gandhidham, Gujarat. India

Also done Overhauling of 8MW & 6MW Extraction cum condensing STG of Triveni engineering make.

Attended Overhauling and successfully solved troubles at many troubleshooting sites.

Skills:

Good knowledge in studying the site Drawings, layouts, P& ID, fabrication of steam pipelines as per the stress analysis drawings considering the forces and moments.

Knowledge of material management for execution of projects in site.

Practical Knowledge of machining process.

Good communication skills & Capable of handling the site individually and completion of works in time.

Have basic process knowledge of paper industries, oil refineries, Distilleries, Sugar industries and chemical plants.

Have knowledge of boilers , feed water pumps, PRDS stations.

Have knowledge of commissioning with VARISTROKE VS1 electro-hydraulic actuator, TG-17 hydraulic actuator, PRO-ACT electronic actuators, UG-8 mechanical governor and basic knowledge of WOODWARD 505, 505E Governors.
