• To Support the Pricing and Promotions Finance Manager in the provision of commercial input into the development of overall Price and Promotional Strategies in order to drive sales and profitability. To provide financial analysis and forecasts by promotional period for the commercial POG meeting to enable promotional offers to be evaluated and maximise promotional sales and margin. Measure performance against forecast, following the promotional cycles, which feed results and learning’s into future analysis.
• To evaluate and monitor the impact of all price or promotional trials with appropriate financial measurement, reports, insightful analysis and conclusions, using this to support recommendations made.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Commercial and Finance team in order to drive business performance.
• Provide financial evaluation and analysis to feed into quarterly forecasts and annual budgets and 3 year planning process by producing input on the likely effect of selected promotional and pricing strategies on sales and margin
