PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Thirty years as a T.I.G and M.M.A pipe welder with a comprehensive range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals in the power generating and petro-chemical industries at shutdown, maintenance and new stages covering large and small bore pipes and varying degrees of wall thickness. Responsible at various stages & levels for the training of apprentices and qualification testing for welders. Extensive maritime maintenance, repair & installation on wide range of vessels both at sea and in dry dock. In more recent years more supervisory and senior roles undertaken including role as welding supervisor in control of all welding and hot works activity on a large blue book site. Knowledge and understanding of practically all types of welding services, ability to manage men and materials and ensure deadlines and quota’s are met on time.
Despite this normal welding duties are still undertaken daily with excellent skills range with all existing welding technologies whether on land or at sea not a problem.
