MISCELLANEOUS
I have also gained valuable experience teaching privately, ranging from kindergarten- adults.
A passion of mine is travelling. I have travelled extensively in Europe and Asia, and I now look forward to gaining further travel experiences and enjoying different cultures.
Volunteer/ Charity work: I am true believer in helping the less fortunate, and have recently taken part in a volunteer project for “Habitat for Humanity” in Krabi, Thailand. It was a thoroughly overwhelming experience, yet undeniably rewarding. I have previously worked with several charities across Thailand and Myanmar, which has provided the opportunity to help support good causes. It is something I am interested in and I would be keen to build new connections between schools and charities.
Computer Skills: I am familiar with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS-X and Network Services. I am well experienced with Internet Applications, and I have Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office. I have gained experience and received training on Promethean interactive whiteboards/ and the ActivInspire software. I am also a proficient user of an ipad and have received training on incorporating the use of ipads in the classroom.
