I had been worked in Diesel Engine power and water station which was
holding a four Main Diesel Engines For Electric Power Generation and
Desalination and Reverse osmosis Plants to Satisfies the whole water
Demand In the Island.

ESEL ENGI N E – CAPACITY 2.25 MW, REVERSE OSMOSIS PLANT –
500 CUBIC METER OF WATER PRODUCTION, DESALI NATION RH-
72 PRODUCE 72 CUBIC METER OF WATER PRODUCTION,
DESALIANATION RH-150 PRODUCE 150 CUBIC METER OF WATER
PRODUCTION.
In case of Any Problem with the Normal operation of the
Electrical Equipment such as Motor, Pumps and Other
electrical Equipment. My Job is to Trouble Shoot and Identify
the Problem then Find the Permanent Solution to Rectify the
Problem and to make sure that won’t Happen Again.
In case of Further Modification in a Existing System due to
Malfunction or to Prevent the Future Problem, I would do the
Modification in a Existence System by Properly Analyzing the
system Along with it’s relevant Control Circuit Diagram.
To change the electrical Equipment If In case any Equipment
get Burned or Damaged with a Proper Replacement to make
sure it work as like as before.
Check the motor and Pumps by checking it’s Windings
Resistance and Insulation Resistance as well to make sure that
the Motor is In Good Condition to Operate along with the
Bearing Check for both Motor and Pumps.
In case of Any Fault occurs at Electrical Network side such as
Earth fault, Differential Fault, Negative Sequence Fault My job
was to Trouble shoot the problem and Rectify it within a Small
period of time.
If Earth Fault Occurs the Feeder Breaker will be Isolated by the
Earth Fault Relay, Within a Short Period of time I had to go to
that Fault spot Area to Find the Exact Location of the Faulty
Area by Using the Equipment Cal led “MEGGER”. By using this
could able find the Faulty area by Applying High Voltage at
the Both end of the Cable. Once find out the Faulty Location
then need Isolate the Faulty Area and Do the Ring main
operation to Restore the Power Back.
Doing the BATTERY MAINTENANCE monthly once to make sure
that the Electrolytes in the Batteries are Enough for that To
Operate in a Good Condition.
Carry out the Protection Relay Testing to make sure that Al l the
protection Relays are work properly and adjust their response
setting time as per the Record.
To carry Out Preventive maintenance on High Voltage Circuit
Breakers for Monthly once to Make sure the operating
Procedure of Circuit Breaker. Specified electrical installation
and application in industrial and other buildings.
Determined maintenance and repair methods of existing
electrical systems, motors and equipment. Supported design of
systems for electrical domestic appliances. 2021 DECEMBER -
2022 MAY Studied and advised on technological aspects of
electrical engineering materials, products and processes.
Designed power stations and electrical power systems.
Supervised, controlled and monitored operation of electrical
systems. Recommended procedures to monitor electrical
performance and safety. Conducted preventative
maintenance to boost productivity of manufacturing
machinery.
