I am a highly qualified instructor with a great passion for English language teaching and assessment. I have garnered an extensive experience teaching in the Arab and Muslim cultures of Tunisia and Saudi Arabia - both non-English speaking environments. This has been refined by my experience as an IELTS Examiner over the last six years and my current training as an OET Provider. Throughout my rich career, I have developed a variety of hard and soft skills that contributed to my success in teaching whole classes, or tutoring individuals or small groups of English language learners. A Nikos Kazantzakis quote best sums up my practice of fostering the growth of independent learners: "True teachers are those who use themselves as bridges over which they invite their students to cross; then, having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create their own."
