Main responsibilities contained maintaining the Regiments vehicles and generators.
Daily tasks included:
• Performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking and cleaning, to detect and prevent problems.
• Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment defects and ascertain a solution.
• Testing new and faulty equipment to pre-empt/diagnose malfunctions by using test equipment and software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of electronic units and systems.
• Operate equipment to demonstrate proper use to equipment operators.
• Repair and adjust equipment/machines and defective components.
• Installation of repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.
• Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.
• Assisting junior members of staff to become more competent in their roles.
During this role I have gained excellent team working and communication skills with the ability to take control of tasks. Self discipline, initiative and confidence in using blueprints, schematics and manuals. Also the ability to think and react quickly in rapidly changing situations to reach targets efficiently.
October 2006 – June 2008
Orange Plc. Cobalt Business Park, Newcastle
Main Role was Small business Customer Advisor.
Daily routine consisted of:
• Receiving calls from Orange business customers to deal with a large amount of problems and queries regarding their mobile phones. Such as; invoice queries, usage policies, insurance claims and technical issues.
• Using a variety of computer programs to identify solutions for the customers queries.
• Offering new products/tariffs to the customers.
Throughout this role I attained communication, problem solving and computer skills.
May 2006 – October 2006
Churchill Taverns The Plume of Feathers, Weedon
Main Role was Bar Person.
Role consisted of:
• Cash handling.
• Serving food and drinks.
For the period of this role I attained teamwork and communication skills.
January 2006 – October 2006
Reed Employment Barclaycard, Northampton
Main Role was Fraud Detection Analyst.
Daily routine was:
• Processing inbound and outbound customer calls within the fraud detection department for Barclaycard.
• Using company computer programs to identify the possibility of fraud on customer’s accounts and rectifying any discrepancies that are found.
During this position I gained experience in working in a fast paced business environment, achieving high standards of customers relations, company policies and technical skills.
2004-2006
Travel Lodge Ltd Seaton Burn, Newcastle upon Tyne
Main Role was Customer Assistant for both Burger King and Little Chef restaurants.
Tasks included:
• General housekeeping, such as cooking and cleaning.
• Serving members of the public and cash handling.
Throughout this role I attained communication and teamwork skills.

• Apprenticeship in Engineering NVQ Level 2.
• European Computer Driving Licence.

• CompTIA Network + — Attended and completed 1 week of intense training with Bluescreen IT.
• Cisco Certified Network Engineer — Attended and completed 2 weeks of intense training with Bluescreen IT covering the INCD part 1 and part 2.
