• Receiving commendation for the quality of work and efficiency produced within a short time period, successfully exceeding expectations
• Working under the Ministry of Justice, taking direct orders from courts in accessing families regarding disputes around contact, parental responsibility, residence and adoption
•Writing reports regarding the same and ensuring they are submitted within set timeframes

• Setting up own Consultancy service and securing a contract working with the Government under the Ministry of Education, Social Service department
• Playing an instrumental role in Hertfordshire County being recognised and publically awarded for Child Protection work (2012), thus heightening reputation
• Working closely with the Constabulary of Hertfordshire Out of Hours Services in responding to crisis situations, including child protection issues, family breakdown and placing children into care/residential accommodation
• Effectively managing own caseloads, responsible for making effective decisions on cases and working in partnership with other agencies, such as police, doctors, youth workers and mental health professionals
• Managing risks and supporting families outside usual working hours, including weekends and bank holidays

• Initially employed as a Project Co-ordinator in Ebony People’s Association, achieving rapid promotion to Head of Children Services in recognition of strong work ethic, drive to succeed and the delivery of results
• Personally responsible for setting up new projects, including the development of a niche service catering for children, young people and adults directly/indirectly suffering from mental health illness; ultimately having Ebony People’s Association named as the only service in North London offering the same
• Being awarded the Honorary Achievement Award of Excellence by the founder of the organisation in recognition of the same
• Taking the lead role when bidding for contracts for new projects and overseeing services in Children’s Department as well as managing safeguarding and children protection issues

• Achieving many successful outcomes for vulnerable children and families and having work published in Social Work Now; one of the most respectable social work magazines in the UK
• Playing an instrumental role as a front line Social Worker accountable for the support of children and their families from disadvantaged backgrounds
• Specialising in crisis intervention and utilising preventative measures in ensuring the ongoing protection of children deemed to be at risk
• Providing valuable support to families in ensuring the achievement of a good, stable, family life
• Working closely and collaboratively with representatives from education, health and criminal services in addition to initiating care proceedings in the court arena when children remain at risk
• Personally responsible for chairing meetings focusing on the creation of plans and delegation of responsibility relating to the safeguarding of children and families in a vulnerable position
VOLUNTARY SUPPORT WORKER
Victim Support London (2004-2007)
• Officially recognised by Victim Support due to the instrumental role played in reducing the number of hate crimes committed through the creation and production of materials utilised in schools to raise awareness
• Personally responsible for the provision of both emotional and practical support for victims of different crimes, including those affected by the 7/7 underground bombings
• Supporting victims of a wide variety of crimes, including murder, rape, serious sexual assaults, robbery and other crimes of theft
