I am a seasoned professional with close to a decade experience in the construction industry, practicing quantity surveying. Most of my career has been devoted to projects ranging from residential, commercial, mixed-use, fit-out, and infrastructure developments. I am adequately skilled in the administration of various forms of contracts, such as JCT, NEC, etc., for use in different types of contracts for respective projects. Furthermore, I am proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite for project reporting and Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Revit software for quantity take-off and costing. I am equally adept at the preparation of estimates and bills of quantities.
I have closely monitored the costs of successful projects without experiencing overruns. Due to my commercial alertness, I have saved my employers huge sums through innovative ideas that sum up to operational excellence, effective management of procurement activities, and proactiveness in coordinating subcontractors and suppliers. I have also been able to immensely contribute to the bidding and winning of projects for my employer.
I see myself as a leader with a great personality, possessing excellent communication skills that enable effective collaboration within teams and successful stakeholder management. I understand the significance of building great relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.
