I received training in asbestos awareness and testing and acquired a good knowledge of insurance principles in this role. I used spreadsheet software to manage my workload and also used the generic software packages provided by Asprea to log progress reports and survey information using a schedule of rates. As part of my role I had to survey and validate insurance repairs, scope unforeseen work and assess quality of work issues and ensure resolution of such issues, my role was to make sure that key decisions were in line with insurance principles and ensure that costs were kept to the indemnity limit of any given claim.
