Financial Accountant seeking work in Kenya

I am a hardworking, well organized lady with a good character, pleasant personality and good communication skills. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option) degree from Kenyatta University where I graduated with Second Class Honours, Upper Division. I am a Certified Public Accountant CPA-K. On top of that, I am conversant with accounting software's and I can efficiently use QuickBooks, Sage, Pastel, Tally ERP Systems and Oracle to prepare financial accounts and reports. I have practical experience in taxation and accounting for statutory including filing PAYE, VAT, MRI, WHT, NSSF, NHIF, HELB. I am computer literate and I can efficiently work with Microsoft Office applications like MS Word, MS Excel (Advanced), MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint to perform finance functions and I have experience in using Aren Software for Payroll processing. I have experience in making bulk and individual payments, both local and international on various online banking platforms including DTB, NCBA and ABSA online banking.

I am currently the Financial Accountant at Avenue Group Limited where I joined the company as an Allocations Officer - Accounts Receivables. Prior to that, I have worked at TSG Realty Limited in the Finance and Accounts department, where I joined the company as an accounts assistant and later promoted to an Accountant - Head of Projects. With this knowledge and experience, I believe I will be of great value to your organization. My zeal to learn and get better in my professional career will ensure that I go above and beyond any responsibilities that I may be assigned. I am a team player and I can also work well on my own under minimum supervision. I pay attention to detail and demonstrate high levels of motivation required to meet tight deadlines.
