Heading, gutting, cleaning, and grading seafood items are all in a day’s work for me. I am highly experienced in racking seafood items for freezing purposes, working on can lines by feeding cans and lids into lidding machines, and operating machines to move packed seafood products between different places. Once hired, you will soon notice that I am not afraid of hard work, and I will work in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment.
In addition to this, I am proactive when it comes to segregating products on conveyor belts, according to grades, colours, and sizes, and can pick out and discard cull items with great professionalism. I am also competent in packing seafood products in boxes, barrels, and baskets, according to the specifics of instructions provided.
Receive deliveries and move to appropriate location.
Gut and clean all types and sizes of fish.
Weigh and grade fish and other seafood products.
Package filets or whole fish for storage and sale.
Clean gutting machines conveyor belts and all machines thoroughly after each shift.
Remain current on health and safety standards relevant to Fish Processing.
