" I have worked as a Medical Superintendent for Siavonga District Hospital in southern Zambia, I am a holder of a Bachelor's in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB). I have led the construction of a one-stop centre eye clinic with support from One Sight an NGO. I trained at the Copperbelt University from the year 2012 to the year 2018 where I obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery(MBChB) on the Copperbelt province of Zambia. I went to Namwianga Christian Secondary School and Maamba secondary school for my junior and senior high school respectively. I completed with division 1 grade in high school and was the overall best student during our mock examinations. I remember at this point one of the sponsors from the local coal mining company bought us awards and to my surprise I was given a suit as a present among other things. After my university years I further went on to study HIV/TB programs. HIV/TB still remains a burden in our region with challenges far beyond our control and influence. As far as accomplishments, I have run a district hospital as a medical superintendent. The role of medical superintendent involved chairing institution meeting, supervision, managing hospital accounts and of course doing clinical work. I enjoyed the role of medical superintendent because I learnt some managerial skills which I barely learnt in medical school. "

Personal Information:

I have in interest in preventive cardiology as well as other Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs). I have always imagined myself as a cardiologist with special interest in preventive cardiology because the complications that come with cardiac disease are almost end-stage hence my interest in preventive cardiology. One of the implicating factors of cardiac disease in my region is having too much salt in diet which consequently has a detrimental effect on blood pressure and heart failure as a sequelae.
At my free time I enjoy playing golf and spending time with family and friends, I enjoy road trips and swimming too. I have been paying golf since the age of 5 years. At the time in my country we did not have golf clubs for junior golfers, so what my father did was to cut the shaft to suite my height and that's how the game started. Growing up I developed deep interest for the sport and I have since continued to play golf as my favorite sport.
