Health Care Assistant, strong communication skills

I believe I have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, because it helps to provide safe and effective care to patients. Also, I've always been able to deal with challenging situations. An example of this in my current role was when I had to deal with an episode of violence from a relative who was extremely angry about his patient's deteriorating condition. I spoke in mild and compassionate tone, showed empathy while explaining the current course of management and possible outcome. The relative sent me a 'Thank You' note and said my empathy had made the experience more bearable than it might have been.
