I take great care and pride in my work, with ambitions to always improve on myself and the standards at which I conduct myself. Every role I have undertaken during my career I have given my 100% and it has payed off in appraisals and comments from my previous employers, of which I am happy to share or provide references upon request. I adopt the attitude that I do not know everything but I am able to learn anything.
My technical ability and knowledge is incredibly broad, I have worked with more systems than I could list here. This experience and strong interest for how things work is why I can take problems that are complex and sensitive to safely and pragmatically provide solutions. I am incredibly persistent and am yet to give up on a technical problem before coming to a solution.
I have worked as a travelling technician, I have worked alone and as a part of a team and I have worked in very small communities on Antarctic research stations. I have always had good working relationships and more recently learnt how to get the best from a team since being placed in more supervisory roles. I take the same pride and care when working with people as I do with my technical work. I believe that my high level of motivation and determination is an example to others and mostly I find gives people the president to perform to their highest capability.
