I am an excellent educational leader, communicator and educationalist. I am passionate about education and my teachers inform me that they respect me for my knowledge, care and sense of humour. I have extensive experience across all levels and subjects in education. I am able to assess a problem and find a solution quite quickly. I am good at choosing good teachers; I look for passion and care for students as well as educational knowledge and knowledge of how students learn. I am motivational and lead by example.

I am an avid reader and writer. I am a regular contributor to educational magazines and journals. I have a book published by SAGE in 2013 - Sound Before Symbol and several other books for children to assist literacy development. I am currently producing a series of books to help children to learn to read and write.
I have produced a webinar series for teachers, a resource pack for teachers and have a YouTube channel with videos of literacy through music sessions.
I also swim, cycle and run.
