IB Biology teacher seeking work in Australia

I am an MTech in biotechnology from shobhit university, India and have been a high school Biology teacher for the last 7 years teaching both the Cambridge IGCSE, AS, A and IB DP. Currently, I am a CAIE and IBDP Biology faculty at The international school Bangalore, India.

I have extensive experience in developing and implementing lesson plans that meet syllabus requirements, while at the same time providing my students with an advanced comprehension of the Biological sciences. I have always been focused on delivering the curriculum in a manner that would sync with my student's individual requirements and limitations and thereby make the subject enjoyable as well as relevant.

I also have extensive experience supervising IB students in their IAs and EEs and my student's results in the CAIE and IB final examinations have consistently been very good.

I enjoy being interested in my student's work so that I am better able to support and advise them with their educational goals and plans. I welcome the opportunities I get in school to be part of a wider team with my other teaching colleagues and the administrative staff and I have always believed that frequent interaction with my student's parents contributes positively to my student's academic progress and their overall well-being.

Teaching Cambridge and the IB curriculum has contributed to my growth as a teacher. Today I am in a position where learning new teaching strategies, improving on the ones I already know and practice in the classroom and learning from my mistakes is an integral part of my teaching-learning process and what I greatly enjoy.
