Writing and reviewing Instrument specifications and Vendor documentation
Procurement of Instrumentation/Control Systems including follow up at Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests
Perform squad check of vendor equipment drawings and drawings from other disciplines
Perform calculations to size and select instrumentation for a variety of applications, including flow meters
Proficiency in reading technical documentation including Piping and Instrument Diagrams, loop drawings, wiring schematics, specifications, and applicable codes and standards
Attend HAZOP studies and P&ID reviews
Prepare technical and other project specifications, datasheets, lists, loop diagrams, location diagrams, wiring diagrams, block diagrams & installation details
Developed datasheets and method of sampling for Gas Chromatographs, vapor and liquid service
Selection and requisition of Fire & Gas Detectors as well as preparation of Fire & Gas location plans
Knowledge regarding HIPPS, HIPS, SIS, SIF and ESD. This includes the selection and installation of field instrumentation, safety logic solvers, integrated valves and actuators along with peripheral safety related instrumentation (local control panels, solenoid valves, hydraulic pilots, cables, enclosures, trays and tubing).
